Sources & Corrections Policy
Readers should be able to see where important information came from, when it was checked and how to report a possible error.
Source hierarchy
We prefer the source closest to the fact being described.
- Government and immigration authorities for official rules
- Hospital or health-authority pages for institutional services
- Peer-reviewed literature and trial registries for clinical research context
- Named, reputable news organizations for reported patient cases
- Secondary summaries only when primary material is unavailable or needs context
Citation practice
Articles link directly to material sources whenever practical. A citation supports only the nearby claim; it does not imply that the source endorses China Med Links or every statement on the page.
Time-sensitive information
Hospital services, prices, entry rules and clinical availability can change. Pages should state a review or verification date and direct readers to confirm decisions with the responsible institution.
Reported patient cases
A media report is labeled as a reported case, not a China Med Links client story, unless we have documented permission and a direct relationship. We avoid unnecessary personal details and never infer outcomes beyond the source.
Submitting a correction
Email corrections@chinamedlinks.com with the page URL, the statement in question, supporting evidence and your contact details. We acknowledge credible submissions and review them against the best available sources.
How corrections appear
Minor spelling or formatting fixes may be made silently. Material factual corrections update the reviewed date and add a correction note where readers could otherwise be misled. We do not remove accurate criticism or unfavorable information merely on request.
Source conflicts
When credible sources disagree, we describe the disagreement, date the competing information and avoid presenting uncertain material as settled fact.
Email editorial@chinamedlinks.com. Corrections can also be submitted through our sources and corrections process.
