Treat eligibility as an open question
Eligibility may depend on diagnosis, previous treatment, disease status, organ function, infection risk and other case-specific factors. Only the responsible clinical team can make that assessment.
Clarify the treatment pathway
Ask whether the proposed option is standard care, an approved product, a clinical study or another pathway. Request an explanation of screening, cell collection where relevant, conditioning, admission and monitoring.
Ask about safety and recovery
Patients should understand potential complications, escalation arrangements, expected stay, whether a companion is needed and how quickly they can safely travel after treatment.
Build a complete cost and follow-up plan
Ask which hospital services are included, which testing or medicines may be additional, how payment is arranged and who will receive discharge records for follow-up at home.
