Key takeaways
  • Ask what the appointment is for and who is clinically responsible.
  • Confirm the exact setting, provider, access needs and language plan.
  • Practical coordination should remain separate from clinical rehabilitation advice.
01

Clarify the intended service

Ask whether the booking is an evaluation, therapy visit, follow-up review or non-clinical support arrangement. A general rehabilitation label does not show the clinical scope, assessment requirements or suitability for an individual patient.

02

Prepare the right information

Bring the treating team's relevant instructions, current medication list, recent reports, mobility limitations and a concise account of the goal. Ask the provider what it needs in advance and whether an interpreter or translated documents are required.

03

Check access and timing

Confirm campus, building, route, lift access, appointment length, companion policy and expected follow-up. Build in rest and transport time, particularly after a recent procedure or for a patient with reduced mobility.

04

Know the boundary

The responsible clinician or rehabilitation provider decides any clinical plan. China Med Links may help coordinate language, appointments and practical local arrangements within scope; it does not prescribe therapy, provide nursing or guarantee recovery outcomes.
