Southwest China local support hub

How we can support you locally

  • Pre-arrival medical document checklist
  • Communication with hospital international or patient-service teams
  • English-Chinese interpretation for scheduled appointments
  • Airport, local transport and suitable-stay coordination

Medical-care context

Chengdu is a major medical centre for Sichuan and Southwest China. We help international patients understand practical options and prepare enquiries, without ranking hospitals or making clinical recommendations.

Arrival and local planning

Chengdu is served by Tianfu International Airport and Shuangliu International Airport. Because hospitals have multiple campuses, confirm the exact appointment location before choosing accommodation or arranging airport transport.

Before you book

  • Share recent reports, imaging and a concise medical history before travel
  • Confirm the hospital, campus and department in writing
  • Keep hospital fees separate from interpretation and local-support fees
  • Allow flexible time for review, tests and follow-up appointments

Frequently asked questions

Does China Med Links operate from Chengdu?

Yes. Chengdu is our initial local-support base. We provide non-clinical coordination and practical assistance; licensed hospitals remain responsible for all medical decisions and treatment.

Can you recommend a hospital before reviewing my records?

We can research suitable institutions and help submit an enquiry, but the hospital must assess the case and confirm whether its specialists and services are appropriate.

Can a family member receive local assistance too?

Local planning may include accommodation areas, transport and everyday communication support for an accompanying family member, subject to the agreed service scope.

Independent support, not medical care

China Med Links is not a hospital or healthcare provider. Hospitals and licensed clinicians determine diagnosis, suitability, timing, treatment and medical fees.
